Site Suggestions... ... ?

Hi, I'd really like to be an active member of the forums but there are a few things that are just IRKING me to no end as both a web designer and a human being.

I apologize if this is in the wrong section, but I felt this was the most appropriate place to put it since it seems to be the only forum related to the site directly.

1. The spelling.
   Dear god. I offer myself up as editor merely because nothing kills a website more than horrible spelling. I can understand if posts themselves aren't spell-checked and grammatically correct. It's the intarwebz, nothing is meant to be 100% english-teacher proof. My beef lies with the site.
   
   
2. Everything scrolling every which way.
   It's like watching Cloverfield in theaters all over again.
   
   
3. The layout.
   Ok look, I don't intend to be some sort of elitist snob. And believe it or not, I don't mean to offend either. As a web designer I can totally understand that people have different styles, that some styles just don't appeal to me, and that when those styles don't appeal to me it doesn't mean that the person who designed said style isn't talented. But design and layout are two different things. To put it simply, my issue lies with how things are laid out on the page since it renders a LOT of text unreadable and a lot of things running into places they're not supposed to. Not to mention a lot of things get cut off, and a lot of text is entirely too tiny.
   
   
4. That one kid's emo hair
   It's uh, nothing to be proud of.

Lastly, I offer up what little spare time I have to help with the forums. I'm always full of ideas since I'm a bitch who thinks she should run everything. Anyways, the offer's on the table if you're in the slightest bit interested.

Trevor (he's on here somewhere) asked me to join and I feel obligated to put forth some sort of effort to stay on here xD

Hello Kelly, nice to see you on here. xD I can understand some of your problems. So I'll do my best to adress some of them .

Spelling - Some of the people on where (including the guy who made the site) are net native english speakers, so you'll have to forgive them if their english isn't the best. And it can always be fixed!

Scrolling things - I guess it's just an aesthetic thing. I really don't mind it all that much, but we can ask other members what they think. If more people don't like it, maybe it could be changed.

The layout - None of us are web designers xD. Maybe you could help us out with it since you have exerience with it and have done this kind of thing before. You know a lot and I'm sure we'd benefit from you being here!

The hair - Try to stay away from saying things like that, please. >< We're trying to create a friendly community.

So I guess what I'm saying is: You say you have ideas, Share them with us! Suggestions are great, and we do our best to make all the members happy. So talk with us, and we'll listen to your ideas. Oh, and I don't want you to feel obligated to join, especially if you don't want to. I just thought it may have held some interest for you. I may have been wrong. xD And yes, this is Trev. ^^

I can totally understand people not being native English speakers. As I said, my beef lies with the site. There is no reason why the news updates and navigation should be misspelled... in fact, that only HURTS the non-native English speakers by teaching them bad English.

And honestly the scrolling doesn't annoy me THAT much except it just reminds me of novice web designers since it's a typical fascination with people just learning HTML. I just felt like making that Cloverfield reference xD

I love helping with web design stuff. It makes me happy to make things pretty.

As for the hair... I won't say a thing more unless his one exposed eye becomes blind and he can no longer use the forums. Sense of humor... srsly.

I need a place to be social. And Facebook is beginning to suck majorly. Might as well chill with geeks than with people who won't let me be myself.

Ahaha, well I'm glad you decided to join. Feel free to drop the admin a message about the navigation and the new updates. ^^

And it'd be cool if you want to help out with the web design! I think it'd be awesome to have someone of your calibur work on it. ^^

Lol, well the admin is Adelate. So just send him a message, or you could just make a topic. Up to you, really.

As to the four letter words, I don't care, just try not to direct them at people.

I am tempted to make a suggestion thread. Merely because I think it's stupid to push ideas you aren't sure other people will like. If I were to create said suggestion thread, should I post it in this same forum or what?
